Allegheny County Hazmat Station 450 has a variety of specialized equipment to respond to hazmat emergencies. We respond with two apparatus to carry the equipment for hazmat response. The team has full communications ability with all agencies in Allegheny County.

450 Hazmat 1 is our primary response apparatus for responding to incidents. It contains a variety of equipment and tools to mitigate hazmat incidents. Some of the these things include:

450 Hazmat 2 is our support apparatus that carries additional equipment to support a hazmat response. Some of the equipment includes:

• Chlorine Release Containment Kits (A, B, and C Kits)
• Bulk-Tank Containment Kit (Midland Kit)
